The photos in these albums were taken in many countries, on many trips over a 20 year period. Yet they represent but a small view of what this "magic" continent is all about. Every trip to Africa is unique- each one intensifies one's understanding of nature, the interaction between species, and enhances awareness of our own human development. The continent is huge-- it covers over 20% of earth's land surface;has over 30 countries with hundreds of different cultures; it is 3 times the size of the US.
Africa has a tremendous variety of attractions, from its abundant and amazingly diverse wildlife to its incredable scenery. Each country is different and each offers its own compelling reasons to visit. I am constantly urging friends with an interest in wildlife or different cultures to go now to this wonderful destination. I would highly reccomend to anyone considering a trip to Africa ,that they contact Mark Nolting at The Africa Adventure Company - "www.AfricaAdventure.com". Mark has been an invaluable resource in planning my trips to Africa

To me India meant "tiger" but after traveling to, and between, several of its national parks, I have seen that India provides a much fuller portfolio than just this striped predator. A rich diversity of wildlife, a colorful array of people, a variety of habitats, and beautiful places make this sub-continent a photographic Eden. The photos in these albums were taken in several different national parks. And,while habitats are vanishing and poachers flout the law,you can still see an astonishing array of wildlife.Lions, tigers, leopards, bears and a wide .variety of their prey inhabit the sub-continent, as well as buffalo, elephants.rhinos, and a multitude of birds.
However, unlike Africa where great herds are easy to spot on the open savannahs, viewing wildlife in India requires patience. Especially the elusive tiger. It hides in heavy grass or dense woodland, and while you know that its there--it is a rare thrill to gain even a quick glimpse, and this usually on the swaying back of an elephant. Yet despite the difficulty , game viewing is varied and exciting. With some understanding of the patterns of the animals and a good guide, sightings are frequent and rewarding.
