Africa
From my very first visit in 1987, I was and continue to be amazed and fascinated by the rich diversity of wildlife, landscape and people that are Africa. The photos in this album were taken in many countries, on many trips over a 15 year period. Yet they represent but a small view of what this "magic" continent is all about.

India
India
To me India meant "tiger" but after traveling to, and between, several of its national parks, I have seen that India provides a much fuller portfolio than just this striped predator. A rich diversity of wildlife, a colorful array of people, a variety of habitats, and beautiful places make this sub-continent a photographic Eden. The photos in these albums were taken in the Indian states of Rajastan and Madhya Pradesh.

Located on the equator, 600 miles off the west coast of Ecquador, the 29 islands that form the Galapagos provide a biological diversity that is truly unique. Having evolved with no predators, the wildlife here is totally unafraid of man. This allows "up close and personal" photographic opportunities.

The photographs shown in this gallery are a compilation of shots taken in many districts of China and captive Asian animals shot in Montana.I am hopefull that these pictures represent the beginning of many more photo trips to Asia to capture a sense of the great variety of animals that still live in the wild before human population growth destoys their habitat and them.

About Bob Lipsky
Bob Lipsky
I began to take wildlife photography seriously with my first trip to Africa in 1987. Since then I've traveled to many of the great wildlife viewing areas of the world and have been able to produce the imagery you see in these albums. I've had my images shown at several one-man shows, published in magazines, newspaper, and books, and have been awarded prizes in photo contests. But I still feel the same excitement as I did on that first trip whenever I go out to "shoot" in the field.
